Rare PINT Wax Sealer A. STONE A sparkling and crude example with no damage or stains. Nice crude and drippy applied mouth, well-embossed, and has good bubbly glass character. Does have the tiniest pinhead nick on top of the rim, but very small and hard to see. Notice in the photo that there’s a small undulation on top of the outer rim (shown) but its not damage, just the normal manufacturing crudeness that’s common to early applied mouth wax sealers. A beautiful little jar and very rarely seen in this tiny size. |

JOHN M MOORE FISLERVILLE Complete HG A big half gallon (plus) sized example. Correct original domed Moores lid and a nice original cast iron Moore’s clamp. Lid has a tiny nick on the edge, but a very good example. The jar does have one small starred pot stone on the back shoulder from the original making. Clean glass in the jar and no damage or stains. Even has the original gasket still intact. |

Unusual YELLOW Safety HG A scarce color for this jar, nearly a golden yellow, but I’ll call it a yellow amber. Noticeably lighter than the usual pale amber color these come in. Lite amber original lid and original scarce wire clamp. Jar is shiny clean with no damage. Does have some of those vertical marks on the sides where the glass was touched while still hot. A beautiful early Indiana jar. |

Pint FRUIT KEEPER Unusual BALL BLUE Color A pint example in an appealing medium Ball blue color. Placing the jar next to a Ball blue colored Ball Perfect Mason, it is nearly an exact match. The lid is also a matching Ball blue color, and the metal closure is an original. These jars are usually light greenish-aqua. Nice overall condition with clean sparkling glass. A very nice little pint. |

John Moore rev JB Wilson’s Air Tight Jar An aqua small-mouth quart with strong embossing that reads: “J.B. WILSON’S AIR TIGHT FRUIT JAR PATENTED JUNE 20, 1861". On the other side: “JOHN M. MOORE & CO (arched) MANUFACTURERS FISLERVILLE N.J.”. Comes with its rare, correct small mouth glass lid, embossed “PATENTED JUNE 20 1861". Nice Moore’s iron yoke clamp with thumbscrew is in good shape. The jar is in nice shape also, with only one small flake on the outer rim. Shiny glass with no damage, stains, or pot stones. Inside the shoulder is one teardrop-shaped open bubble from the making. A rare early New Jersey jar, that has seldom been offered for sale. |

DOCTOR RAMSAY’S Jar This rare variety has fluted panels that extend down to the heel. Good embossing and excellent condition. Ground rim has the usual minor roughness. Original glass stopper is near perfect, with a minor flake on the bottom edge. The base of the jar is unmarked. There is a little deposit on the very bottom of the jar. Side Wire VAN VLIET Quart This is the variety with the wire spanning the sides of the jar instead of front to back. The base shows mold alterations where the mold was changed to move the wire grooves to the sides. Beautiful condition with shiny glass and no damage or stains. Normal ground rim roughness. The lid is very light aqua. The original iron clamp and wire are in excellent shape with very little rust. A fine example. |

Amber MASONS 1858 Unusual Mold An amber 1858 half gallon with subtle darker amber swirling and also some translucent milk glass-like swirling. This mold variety I’ve never seen in amber...it is usually seen in clear and attributed to Atlas Glass Co of Washington, Pa. (Note the odd “M” and the squatty style of “1858"). The base has a large “8". Excellent condition with shiny glass and good embossing. |

Rare Size NE PLUS ULTRA Jar This sparkling aqua quart-and-a-half sized jar is the straight-sided variety with no “circles and squares”. Embossed “NE PLUS ULTRA, AIR-TIGHT FRUIT JAR/ MADE BY BODINE & BROS’ WMS’ TOWN, N.J./ FOR THEIR PATENT GLASS LID.” Comes with the original glass insert lid, which is in decent shape with some typical edge roughness. The jar is excellent with no damage or stains....the glass really sparkles in this example. Has some minimal roughness on the top edge of the rim, very minor. Amber CROSS Masons 1858 Swirled An amber “Cross above” Masons 1858 quart with very strong, bold embossing. The glass also has an interesting milky swirl spiraling around the jar from top to bottom, which is not showing in the photo due to the white background. Excellent condition with no damage or stains. Has the usual light flaking of the ground rim. The apostrophe in Mason’s is strongly 7-shaped. A very impressive-looking jar. |

Crowleytown Quart with Original Lid This early Crowleytown Mason quart comes with its original rare IRON cap with vertical lugs. The cap is full of tiny pinholes, but they do not show with the lid on, only when held to a light. The cap is still quite solidly intact, and looks really good on the jar. This variety is perhaps the rarest of the original Crowleytown lids. The jar is in nice shape with no damage or stains. Perfectly flat base. |

Rare CORNFLOWER BLUE The Hero Ine This rare half gallon is embossed in 3 lines “THE HERO INE” with the third line intentionally made much lighter than the first two. The color is a rare medium cornflower blue. Beautiful glass is full of tiny seed bubbles. Metal lid closure is stamped with a multitude of patent dates, and the zinc band fits tightly.
